This gold medal goes to the talented Cary Randolph, for the speedy performance that this lush feels terrible for missing (slept through the alarm, which somehow gets easier to do the fewer hours of sleep you have the night before). Among a sea of runners, on a freezing cold morning with just a mere couple of days of preparation, our resident runner managed to be in the top 15 of her very, very competive age group - I’m so sorry to have missed it.
